« Quae e longinquo magis placent »
🇫🇷 Les choses plaisent davantage de loin

🇯🇵 遠くからのほうがものは素敵に見える
Touku kara no hou ga mono wa sutekini mieru
It is kind of the Latin equivalent to the English saying “the grass is greener on the other side.” We have this too in French: “L’herbe est toujours plus verte chez le voisin” and in Japanese: 隣の芝生は青く見える (tonari no shibafu wa aoku mieru).
